3.2 Design
The degree of contamination of the filter cartridges can be taken
from the pressure gauge. The filter cartridges can easily be
removed and cleaned.
The wetted parts are mainly made from glass fibre reinforced
polypropylene PP GF 30 and thus have excellent corrosion
resistance to swimming pool water and agents most commonly
used for water treatment.
The motor shaft also serves as the pump shaft onto which the
impeller is fastened. A bellow-type mechanical seal acts as the
shaft seal and is mounted on a plastic shaft protector sleeve. This
ensures complete separation between the swimming pool water
and the electric motor.
Due to the optimal water flow and the low filter speed, and if the
BADU Star is installed correctly, you achieve a high grade of
efficiency.
