NOTICE
 Before maintenance work, close all shut-off valves and drain
all pipes.
When? What?
Regularly  Remove foreign matter from the
suction opening.
 Turn the motor shaft (after long idle
periods).
 Tighten the screws.
If there is a chance
of frost

Drain pump and pipes sensitive to
frost in good time.
 After completing all maintenance work, perform all necessary
measures for start-up. See point 6.1 on page 22.
8.1 Assembling/disassembly the lid
Both the pump lid and the filter container lid can be assembled
and disassembled by releasing the toggle screws.
8.2 Cleaning the filter cartridges
1. Turn the BADU Star off.
2. Close the shut-off valves in the suction and pressure lines.
3. Open the drain plugs and allow the water to drain.
4. Unscrew the toggles on the lid and remove the lid.
5. Remove the complete filter insert using the handle. The filter
cartridges can either be sprayed or washed in the washing
machine at 30 °C, without spinning. Remove the white caps
when washing in the washing machine.
6. If the filter cartridges have to be replaced, only use original,
machine washable BADU Star Dacron Filter cartridges.
7. When the filter insert has been cleaned, reinsert this into the
BADU Star and commence operation.
