• Connect the Composite socket INPUT CVBS (15) using a video RCA cable, and connect the
sockets INPUT L (16) and INPUT R (17) using a suitable stereo audio RCA cable.
• Connect up to two coax cables with SDI BNC plug to the BNC sockets OUTPUT SDI (8, 9),
and connect the other ends of the coax cables to suitable monitors. The device supports the
following cable lengths: Up to 100 m (3G-SDI), up to 200 m (HD-SDI). These lengths depend
on the quality of the cables and on local conditions.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the supplied power adapter to the low voltage socket
12 V/DC 2.5A (18). Secure the plug to the housing of the converter using the knurled nut
located on the plug. That way the low voltage plug cannot be disconnected accidentally.
• Connect the power adapter to a suitable power outlet. Use the O/I ON OFF (19) button to turn
on the converter. The LEDs of the set buttons will light up after a few seconds.
• Turn on the connected devices. Select the input source using the CVBS / VGA / DVI / HDMI
(1, 2, 3, 4) buttons. The LED of the selected button will flash for approx. 3 seconds and then
will light up steadily. Input source (Source), input resolution (Input) and output resolution
(Output) will appear in the lower left area of the display for approx. 5 seconds.
• Use the 720P (6) and 1080P (7) buttons to set the resolution for the SDI output devices/
monitors.
• Press the BLACK (5) button to switch the SDI playback devices/monitors to dark or black
mode. Press the BLACK button again to output the picture signal again.
• Press the O/I ON OFF button to turn off the device after use. Unplug the power adapter from
the wall socket when not using the device for a longer period of time.

Cleaning and care
• Turn off and disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
