RECCOMENDED MOUNTING LOCATIONS
SOUND ADVANCE products provide outstanding
performance and economic advantages when installed
in environments with an ambient noise level at or below
75dBA, where the speakers can be placed between 8
and 18 feet above the floor, and which are large enough
to accommodate at least 4 or more conventional
loudspeakers. When system design requirements
indicate speaker to speaker distances of greater than
40.0 ft., please contact the factory for additional
technical information on such applications.
SOUND ADVANCE recommends mounting the
CT12F Series in:
Suspended Ceilings
Wood or Metal Stud Walls and Ceilings
Most Soffits and Fascia
RECCOMENDED FINISH
The flat Expanded Polystyrene [EPS] loudspeaker
surface may be finished with water soluble materials
such as latex paints, to match any decor or color
requirements, using conventional brush-on, roller or
airless spray application systems

CT12F SERIES BEZELS AND INSTALLA-
TION HARDWARE
PLEASE NOTE: All CT12F loudspeakers require a
finish bezel to complete installation. Certain applica-
tions require tile bridges and other accessories.
SOUND ADVANCE SYSTEMS recommends, as a
good safety practice, the use of tile bridges or sup-
ports.
PLEASE NOTE: With either the CT12FH or CT12FHT
models, which use the SOUND ADVANCE Quad
Cam Mounting System, one of the following bezels
is required:
FMB-F - Flush mount bezel for suspended or
solid ceilings.
Weight 0.43 lbs. ( 0.19 kg.).
CSB-F - Concealed spline bezel for flush mount-
ing in 12 inch (30.5 cm )square concealed spline
ceilings.
Weight 0.44 lbs. (0.20 kg.).
Please note: With either the CT12F or the CT12FT
models, which use the SOUND ADVANCE Torsion
Spring Mounting System, the following bezel is
required:
