Setting the clock by using the menu

Press MENU.
Press  repeatedly until you find
“Common Settings” and then press
ENTER.
Press  repeatedly until you find “Date &
Time” and then press ENTER.
Repeat steps 3 and 7 in “Setting the clock”.
Switching the time display format
This unit can display 12-hour time format or
24-hour time format. In 12-hour time format,
“AM” and “PM” are displayed.

ENTER.
Press  repeatedly until you find “Time
Display” and then press ENTER.
Select your desired display, and then press
ENTER.

” is displayed in selected format.
Notes

To use the alarm, the scheduled recording
function, or to use the recording time or date for
creating the folder/file name or meta-
information (data format or title), you need to
set the clock.

If you disconnect the AC power cord or if there
is a power outage while no batteries are inserted,
the clock setting will be cleared.

The screen returns to the previous display in the
following situations:

When you do not operate the unit for about 3
minutes

When you open the CD lid

When scheduled recording starts
Tip

To display the current date and time, press
CLOCK while the power is on.
