Preparing batteries for the clock
When batteries for the clock are inserted, the
current time will be retained even if the
power goes down or the AC power cord is
disconnected.
This unit cannot operate from the clock’s
batteries. Be sure to connect the AC
power cord.
Preparing the clock’s batteries
Open the battery lid, insert minus end first,
three R6 (size AA) batteries (not supplied).

Removing the clock’s batteries
Open the battery lid, remove all batteries.
To check the remaining level of the
clock’s batteries

Press MENU.
Press
repeatedly until you find
“Common Settings” and then press
ENTER.
Press
repeatedly until you find “Clock
Battery” and then press ENTER.
If “Load new battery” appears, replace all
the batteries with new ones.
Notes
If a battery is misused, it may leak or explode.
Make sure the following points are adhered
to.
Be sure to install the batteries with the correct
polarity.
Do not mix an old battery with a new one, or
mix different types of batteries.
Tips
With normal use, the batteries should last for
about six months. When the batteries no longer
operate the clock, replace all the batteries with
new ones.
Before you remove or install batteries, do the
following for these items. Otherwise they may be
damaged.
– Remove any CD.
– Remove any SD card or USB device.
– Retract the rod antenna.
– Remove the AM loop antenna.
When replacing the batteries, the clock setting
will be cleared.
