AWG2021 Service Manual

Option 04 Description

The AWG2021 arbitrary waveform generator with Option 04 installed can
provide the following signals at the rear panel output connector. This option
cannot be installed with Option 03 or Option 09.

The data (D0–D11) fed to the internal D/A converter is buffered and connected
to the output connector. At the same time that the analog waveform is output, the
digital output can be obtained. The output is TTL level.

The same clock that goes to the internal D/A converter is buffered and routed to
the connector. The clock output is also TTL level.

Figure 7–10 is a block diagram of the digital data output Option 04.
