1-4-16. Stepping Motor Assembly (PAN)

The stepping motor assembly (PAN) is not prepared for spare parts. When replacing the MD-151 board,
replace the service motor assembly (MD-151) TG. (Refer to Section 2.)

In the service motor assembly (MD-151) TG, the stepping motor assembly (PAN) and stepping motor
assembly (TILT) have a distinguishing mark on the connector portion respectively so that you can tell the
difference between them.
The connector on the stepping motor assembly (PAN) and the connector (CN401) on the MD-151 board
are marked with black paint, and the connector on the stepping motor assembly (TILT) and the connector
(CN501) on the MD-151 board are marked with blue paint.
1. Remove the cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-3.)
2. Remove the TILT block. (Refer to Section 1-4-3.)
3. Remove the HC-51 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-5.)
4. Remove the SY-416 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-6.)
5. Remove the PS-858 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-7.)
6. Remove the DC fan. (Refer to Section 1-4-8.)
7. Remove the CN-3521 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-9.)
8. Remove the FCB assembly. (Refer to Section 1-4-10.)
9. Remove the center cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-4-11.)
10. Remove the MD-151 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-12.)
11. Remove the PAN plate (0) and timing belt. (Refer to steps 11 to 15 in Section 1-4-15.)
12. Remove the two screws, then remove the stepping motor assembly (PAN).
