GPS function
You can use the GPS function on models
with a GPS logo marked on the handle.

Notes
• The GPS receiver is built into the handle.
Accordingly, the GPS function cannot be used
when the handle is not attached.
• GPS position information can be recorded when
shooting in XAVC or AVCHD.
GPS information is not recorded in proxy
recordings or RAW recordings.

Acquiring position information
• [GPS SETTING] is set to [ON] by default.
Position information and time information are
recorded with the video when the GPS function
is on. If you do not want to record position
information, set [GPS SETTING] to [OFF].
• If a triangulating icon is not displayed after
several minutes, there may be a problem with
signal reception. You can start shooting without
position information, or move to an area with a
