MPEG HD recording
In order to use the MPEG HD recording
function, it is necessary to purchase the
“CBKZ-SLMP” (sold separately), obtain
the install key via the Internet according to
the following procedure, and then install the
option on the camcorder.
For details, follow the procedure in the
Installation Guide of the “CBKZ-SLMP”
(sold separately).
When compatible recording media* is
inserted in the camcorder, you can switch to
MPEG HD recording in the menu.

Notes
• The following limitations apply when recording
in MPEG HD.
– GPS (position information) is not supported.
– Data code recording and display is not
supported. If data code display is set to ON
during playback, “--” is displayed.
– Color bars can be used only when proxy
recording is OFF.
– Date recording can be used only during
interlaced recording.
• When recording in MPEG HD, recording stops
automatically when the recorded file reaches 6
hours duration.
• The maximum recording time in MPEG HD
using relay recording is 6 hours. Recording

Ver. 3.0 or later (see page 5).
