5-7. PDW-F1600 Device Type Registration
1.
Set the device type and the Y-axis direction DATA for elevator in Robot side.
Robot side : Set the device type and the Y-axis direction DATA for the elevator in Robot side
(1) Connect the maintenance serial port of Robot and personal computer with the RS-232C cable.
(2) On the “New connection” screen of Tera Term, select “Serial” and a port to use (such as COM1), and
click “OK”.
(3) Select “Setup” followed by “Serial port”. The “Serial port setup” screen appears.
Configure the port with the following settings.

COM1
Baud rate :
115200 bps
Data:
8 bit
Parity:
even
Stop:
1 bit
Flow control: none
After the settings are entered, click “OK”.
(4) Press the Enter key and check that the screen switches to the “Cmd>” prompt.
Enter “factory 1” to switch to factory mode.

(5) Set and check the device type with the DEVICE command.
