Lift the elevator block higher than the first rack.

The elevator block can be moved up and down
manually when the door is open.

Be sure to install the DECKs starting from the upper
rack.
There must be no blank rack between the DECKs.

.

For the racks in which no DECK is installed, install
blank panel A or B for PDW-1500/PDW-HD1500/
PDW-F1600 or for PDW-F70/PDW-F75. No rack
must be left open without a blank panel.
<Reason>
1) If no DECK is installed on a rack and the blank

panel behind that rack is missing, inserting hands
or the like from that opening may lead to injury
caused by a contact with the elevator. The blank
panel serves to prevent it from occurring.

2) The attachment of these panels serves to make the

pressure inside the PDJ-A640 to be higher than
the ambient pressure. They also have the air
inside the PDJ-A640 circulate, which prevents the
temperature inside the unit from rising.

Store the removed blank panel and the screws in a
safe place.

Install blank panel A that matches the DECK to be in-
stalled. Example of installation is shown below.
