5. Setup

5.1. MASM-1 preparation

Download MASM-1 and install it on a Windows PC.

Download

The software can be downloaded from the following website.

https://pro.sony/product-resources/software-firmware/masm-1

Operating environment

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit version)
Processor: 2 GHz or higher
Memory: 4 GB or higher
Storage free capacity: 300 MB or higher
Display resolution: 1280×720 or higher
Browser: Google Chrome (version 70 or higher, installed in the default location)
Other: .NET framework (4.7.2 or higher)

During setup, observe the following points.

Firewall

MASM-1 discovers MAS-A100 units by communication via UDP port 42380.
Configure the firewall and security software of the PC to allow this communication to
discover MAS-A100 units.

Multi interface

If multiple network adapters are operating, MAS-A100 units may not be discoverable.
Disable all network adapters other than the one to which the MAS-A100 units are
connected.
