Video / Audio Menu — Setting the Camera Image and Audio

The Image quality setting value (profile) can retain the
Normal setting and the Setting when the event occurs
respectively as an independent setting.
To change the
Setting when the event occurs , select
Manual in the Changing condition , and set Setting
when the event occurs for the Destination of the
setting , and then press the Execute .
After completing to change the Setting when the event
occurs , return to the Normal setting .
Current status
Displays the current profile condition. Simultaneously
displays the destination of the settings.
Changing condition
Schedule : Changes according to the set conditions on
the Picture tab in the Schedule menu.
Day to Night:
– Threshold : The profile will change in the brighter
environment.
– Hold time : Sets time to judge that the condition is
fulfilled.
– Illumination status : Displays the query which is
determined, light or dark .
Sensor input : Selects sensors for changing conditions,
from Sensor input 1 or Sensor input 2 .
Manual:
– Destination of the setting : Select from Setting
when the event occurs or Normal setting .
– Changing : Changes when you click Execute .
Picture mode
Select the combination of image quality mode to suit the
camera scene.
When the dialog appears, click
OK to apply the selected
picture mode.
You can change the settings of image quality
individually. When you select each Intelligent scene
capture, the image quality setting is automatically
optimized depending on scene. (Default value:
Intelligent scene capture (Standard))
Intelligent scene capture (Fast A)
Select this option to shoot subjects that move quickly.
Intelligent scene capture (Fast B)
Select this option to shoot subjects that move slowly.
Intelligent scene capture (Standard)
Select this option to shoot subjects not in other modes.
Intelligent scene capture (Low noise)
Select this option to prioritize quality.
Sync with Motion detection
Select this check box to make granularity higher by
synchronizing motion detection.
Note
Please set motion detection in advance.
Preset (Low bitrate)
Select this option to shoot in less light or subjects with
minuscule materials, such as leaves.
Preset (Vivid)
Select this option to shoot subjects with a simple color
tone.
Custom setting
Select this option to set the image quality parameter
individually.
Exposure
Adjust the settings of exposure.
Mode
Select from Full auto , Shutter priority , Iris priority ,
and Manual .
Full auto : Camera will adjust Iris, gain, and shutter
speed automatically to obtain appropriate exposure.
Shutter priority : Camera will adjust Iris and gain,
suitable for user-selected shutter speed automatically
to obtain appropriate exposure.
Iris priority : Camera will adjust shutter speed and gain,
suitable for user-selected Iris automatically to obtain
appropriate exposure.
Manual : Set Iris, gain, and shutter speed manually.
Visibility Enhancer
Using the Visibility Enhancer function will make the
darker part of a camera image brighter as well as
automatically correct brightness and contrast to show
bright parts clearly without overexposure. Higher
number, stronger contrast.
Defog
Function to improve deteriorated eyesight of the outside
monitoring camera by defogging in bad weather. Higher
number, stronger defog correction.
Backlight compensation
Function to compensate backlight to shot in the
appropriate exposure.
Higher number, stronger backlight compensation.
