Using the Focus Assist Function

Insert the protrusions of the frame into the pockets of
the monitor hood, and secure it with hooks.
The upward direction of the hood can be adjusted.
To attach the outdoor hood

Insert the protrusions of the frame into the pockets of
the outdoor hood, and secure it with hooks.
The hood direction can be adjusted up by 10º. When
the zippers are opened, the underside can be folded at
two places. When the underside is removed, this hood
can be used as a longer monitor hood.
Folding line 1: The folded part is secured with the
hook and loop fastener
Folding line 2: The folded part is secured with the
belt
Attaching a Number Plate
Insert the tabs on the sides of the required number plate
(supplied) into the slots on the sides of the external tally
lamp.

PEAKING PLUS Function
This function can be used to sharpen the edges of an image
that is specified using the color, area selected, or both. You
can also enhance the edges of the entire image. This
function has no effect on the camera’s video output
signals.
To sharpen edges by specifying the color

Press the PEAKING PLUS switch to switch to the
PEAKING PLUS mode.
The PEAKING PLUS indicator lights up.
You can also set to this mode using “PEAKING
MODE” from the PEAKING menu
(see page 43) .

Select “COLOR” under “COLOR/AREA SEL” of the
PEAKING menu.

Press and hold the PEAKING PLUS switch for 1
second or more (the detection area marker appears in
the center of the screen), align the color to be
corrected in the detection area marker, and then
release the switch.
The color that is to be corrected will be detected.
: Effective edge enhancement area

Adjust the effective edge enhancement area of the
color using the following menus in the PEAKING
menu.
• HUE PHASE: Hue center position
• HUE WIDTH: Hue range
• SAT WIDTH: Saturation range
