Setting repeat play
Repeated playback can be specified for the selected
play mode.
Press REPEAT repeatedly to select the
repeat mode.
Each press of the button changes the repeat mode
and the respective indicator lights up.

Repeat play is off.
Repeat All / REP The unit plays all of the
tracks repeatedly in the
selected play mode.
Repeat 1 / REP1
The unit plays the selected
track repeatedly.

Tip
You can set the repeat mode from the Options menu as
well. To set the repeat mode, enter the Options menu,
select “Repeat”, and then select the item.
Note
The same repeat mode is set (by the WM-PORT/USB
function) for the “WALKMAN” connected to the WM-
PORT and the USB device connected to the (USB) port.
You cannot set the devices to different modes.
For example, if you set the USB device connected to the
(USB) port to all-track repeat play, and then connect a
“WALKMAN” to the WM-PORT, the “WALKMAN” will
be automatically set to all-track repeat play.
Creating your own program
(Program play)
You can create a program of selected tracks while
the HDD, CD, WM-PORT/USB function is
selected on the unit.
Up to 25 tracks can be placed in a program.

While the unit is stopped and the
respective function is selected, press
PLAY MODE repeatedly until “PGM”
lights up in the display.

Press
/
to select the desired
track.
Press +/– to select the desired album or
folder, and then select the desired track.
You can select a track using the search
function as well (page 45).

Press ENTER to add the track to the
program.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to program
other tracks.

Press
to play your program.
The program remains available until you open
the disc tray or remove the “WALKMAN” or
the USB device.
To cancel program play
While the unit is stopped, press PLAY MODE
repeatedly until the “PGM” indicator disappears.
To delete the last track of the
program
While the unit is stopped, press CLEAR.
Note
If you delete or edit the contents of the HDD or
“WALKMAN”, the contents of programs are automatically
deleted.
