Tracks in the HDD, on an audio CD, on an MP3
disc, in a “WALKMAN”, or in a USB device can be
played back on this unit in various play modes.
Setting the play mode
While the unit is stopped and the
respective function is selected, press
PLAY MODE repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the play mode
changes and the respective indicator lights up.

When playing a CD-DA disc, “Folder Continue”
operates in the same way as normal “Continue” play,
and “Folder Shuffle” operates in the same way as
normal “Shuffle” play.

“Album Continue” and “Album Shuffle” appear
when playing the HDD. “Folder Continue” and
“Folder Shuffle” appear when playing an MP3 disc, a
“WALKMAN, or a USB device.
Tip
You can set the play mode from the Options menu as well.
To set the play mode, enter the Options menu, select “Play
Mode”, and then select the item.
Notes
If the unit is turned off while in “Shuffle”, “Album
Shuffle”, or “Folder Shuffle” mode, then the next time
the unit is turned on, the play mode will be “Continue”,
“Album Continue”, or “Folder Continue”, respectively.
The same play mode is set (by the WM-PORT/USB
function) for the “WALKMAN” connected to the WM-
PORT and the USB device connected to the (USB)
port. You cannot set the devices to separate modes.
For example, if you set the USB device connected to
the (USB) port to shuffle play, and then connect a
“WALKMAN” to the WM-PORT, the “WALKMAN”
will be automatically set to shuffle play.
