Troubleshooting
Displays
Description
Probable Cause/Countermeasure
“Please check the transport lock and screw”
or error codes either “0303010” or,
“03040101” are displayed on the LCD.
0A000002 error appears on Library LCD
“ERROR : Error occurs during process” is
displayed.
“ERROR : Error occurs during process” is
displayed.
“Error: License is required.” is displayed in
the Software Condition of Monitor of
Maintenance.
Device List is turnned to red.
The “Setting” button is invalid.
(Refer to 3-3-2.)
Device List is not displayed
“Failed to connect to XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:37
: Connection timed out” is displayed.

“XXX” is the time server’s address.
“ERROR : NTP server address is not
available.” is displayed.
“ERROR : Some important PetaServe
processes are downed.” is displayed in
Maintenance Drive, Monitor, Tape Volumes.
The system doesn’t start properly.
“ERROR : Several impotant PetaServe
processes are downed.” is displayed in
Webmin.
Impossible to mount the cache server(s) to
the main server.
Remove the Transport Lock and Picker Lock
Screw and reboot the Library.
Library SCSI ID are duplicated.
1. Use another SCSI ID for the Library.
The Cache Server may not be working properly.
Reboot the Cache Server.
IP address is incorrect or duplicated.
Input a correct IP address.
Serial or Code is incorrect on the License List.
Input a correct value.
Licence is not registered or incorrect. Check the
FZL-V16AL and register a Licence.
A Licence is not registered or incorrect. Check
the FZL-V16AL and register a Licence.
1. Device identification failed.
2. Reload the browser software.
The time server address is incorrect.
1. Input a correct IP address.
2. Do not use the time server.
NTP server’s address is unrecognizable.
1. Input the correct address.
2. Stop using the NTP function.
PetaServe service is not started properly.
Restart the service by the menu “Start/Stop of
PetaServe”.
Confirm that the power cable is connected
correctly and restart the Library.
Some system processes are still running or an
operator is using the HNF.
1. Wait a few minutes, try again.
2. Perform forced termination (for more details,
refer to Appendix..)
1. Check if the IP address for the Cache Server
inputted by Webmin is correct.
2. Check the IP address of the Cache Server by
“ifconfig bond0” command in the console.
3. Check if the network cable is connected firmly.
