Tools

The Tools menu equips your phone with a clock,
calculator, calendar and fax/data options.

Clock

The clock allows you to set an alarm; a timer; to automatically switch off
your phone every day (auto sleep); as well as to display the current date
and time in standby mode.

Setting the Alarm

Select Clock from the Tools Menu.

Press the Jog Dial. “Alarm” is highlighted.

Press the Jog Dial.

Select “Daily” to set the alarm to ring every day at a certain
time or select “Event” to set the alarm to ring only once at a
certain time and date to remind you of an event, e.g. a meeting,
etc.

Use the Jog Dial and the Keypad to enter the time you want the
alarm to ring.

After entering the last digit, press the Jog Dial to confirm the
time. “On” is highlighted.

7

Press the Jog Dial to activate the Alarm function. The alarm will
ring at the specified time.

Notes

The volume of the alarm is determined by the Ringer Volume setting.
When the alarm is on,

appears in the display in standby mode (if you have set

the clock display to “On”).

Tip

• The alarm rings for about 40 seconds. To turn off the alarm, press any

key (except

or

). The alarm will not ring during

a call, rather on completion of the call. The alarm rings even when the
power is off (and the battery is inserted).
