Battery Information
We recommend that you charge the battery for 4 hours before
you use your mobile phone for the first time. The battery can
only be charged in temperatures b5°C (+41°F) and
+45°C (+113°F).
A new battery or one that has not been used for a long time
could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used.
The talk and standby times depend on usage conditions and
network configurations when using the mobile phone. If the
mobile phone is used near a base station, less power is required
and talk and standby times are prolonged.
•
Warning!
May explode if disposed of in fire.
•
Use only Ericsson or Sony Ericsson branded
original batteries and chargers intended for use
with your mobile phone. Other chargers may not
charge sufficiently or may produce excessive
heat. Using other batteries and chargers could be
dangerous.
•
Do not expose the battery to extreme
temperatures, never above +60°C (+140°F). For
maximum battery capacity, use the battery at
room temperature.
•
Do not expose the battery to liquid.
•
Do not let the metal contacts on the battery touch
another metal item. This could short-circuit and
damage the battery.
•
Do not disassemble or modify the battery.
•
Turn off your mobile phone before removing the
battery.
•
Use the battery for the intended purpose only.
•
Keep out of children's reach.
•
Do not allow the battery to be put into the mouth.
Battery electrolytes may be toxic if swallowed.
