2. Secure the four screws on the replacement Display Subassembly hinges to the
top housing with a #1 Phillips screwdriver (Figure 7.3). Torque screws to
6.1 in./lb. (0.7 newton meter).
3. Place the Control Panel Subassembly onto the Display Subassembly.
4. Install the display wire harness and flex circuits.
Note: Check that the reference designators on the flex circuits match the reference
designators on the PCBA connectors.
5. Replace the 100-pin flex circuit on the bottom module (Figure 7.5).

6. Carefully replace the Control Panel Subassembly by inserting the tabs on the top
of the Control Panel Subassembly into the slots.
7. Set the Control Panel into place and replace the two screws inside the battery
compartment (Figure 7.6). Torque screws to 7.1 in./lb. (0.8 newton meter).
8. Place the battery in the battery compartment.
9. Turn on the system.
10. Perform the Display tests in Chapter 8, Performance Tests, on page 65 to
verify that the Display Subassembly is functioning properly.
