6.8  Installing the battery modules

A sonnenBatterie hybrid 8.1 needs to be installed with at least three battery 
modules (6 kWh). Only then it is possible to commission the storage system.

Improper handling of battery modules

Emission of toxic substances!

Do not open battery modules.

► 

Do not damage battery modules.

Very high short-circuit currents are possible

Risk of burns!

Before working on the DC circuit:

► 

Set aside metal jewellery.

► 

Switch off the storage system.

► 

Switch off the series fuse.

► 

Remove the orange fuse 

connectors on all battery modules.

► 

Use tools with insulated handles.
