RECEIVER AND TRANSMITTER (UART)

15.1 OVERVIEW

The UART offers a flexible means of full-duplex data exchange with external equipment requiring an industry standard
NRZ asynchronous serial data format. The serial interface is applied to low speed data transfer and communicate with
low speed peripheral devices. The UART offers a very wide range of baud rates using a fractional baud rate generator.
