7   PANIC MUTE SWITCH

The d:24 provides a lockable ¼” Jack connector at the back of the 
amp for a dedicated panic mute switch. The wiring of the switch is 
outlined below.

Using a mono Jack plug 

A connection between sleeve and ring informs the internal detec-
tion circuit about the presence of a connector in the socket. Since 

mono plugs are already configured this way, you only have to con

-

nect both pins to the panic switch.

Using a stereo Jack plug

When using a stereo plug, the two respective pins (sleeve and ring) 
have to be connected manually. Afterwards, simply connect the 
two remaining pins to the panic switch.
