3   INSTALLATION & COMMON CAVEATS

Although we kept the use of the d:24 as simple and intuitive as pos-
sible, there are a few things we consider to be important enough to 
be mentioned in this manual.

The  amplifier  is  three  rack  units  (3RU)  high  and  fits  into  a  stan

-

dard EIA 19” rack. The depth of the amplifier is 451mm (17,7”). The 

weight of the analog version is approximately 18kg (39,6lb).

To avoid mechanical stress, it is recommended to use the provided 
rear rack-mount ears. To install the rear rack-mount ears, please 
remove the four M3 TX10 screws on each side of the amp and 
attach the ears with the delivered M3 TX10 pan head screws as de-

picted. After adjusting the desired installation depth, fix the screws 

and  mount the amp in the rack.
