13. Powering Off the Monitor

a.

Press and hold the power button for at least one second.

b.

T

he Monitor displays “Power Down In Progress” for one second and then the screen goes black.

c.

If the internal battery is not fully charged and the AC-DC Power Supply is still connected, then the
Monitor screen powers back on into the battery charging mode.

Pressing the power button while in battery charging mode stops charging and powers down the
Monitor.

While in battery charging mode, the Monitor automatically powers down when either the internal
battery is fully charged or the AC-DC Power Supply is disconnected.

NOTICE! To charge the battery, the Monitor must be connected to the AC-DC Power Supply, and the
Monitor must be turned on. Connecting the AC-DC Power Supply to a Monitor that is turned off will
not charge the battery. However, turning the Monitor off with the charger connected will continue
charging the battery as described above.
