CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power supply by pulling out the plug.

Descaling the water tank and the appliance
If you use non-distilled water, limescale will build up inside the appliance and the water tank
over time. Limescale can block or even prevent steam from escaping from the appliance.
Therefore, we recommend you perform descaling once a month as follows:
1. Switch off the steamer and disconnect its power supply by removing the plug from the
wall socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down. (at least 30 minutes).
3. Fill the water tank with 1:1 mixture of vinegar and water.
4. Connect the appliance to the mains and press the steam switch briefly to allow the
solution to travel the inside of the appliance.
5. Disconnect from the mains and leave the solution in the appliance for 40 minutes.
6. Pour the solution out of the water tank and fill it with clean, preferably distilled water.
7. Reconnect to the mains and operate the steamer intermittently (see USE) until the
vinegar odour disappears.
