8. Error detection
This section contains tips on errors, their causes and a possible remedy available to the user.
Technical faults, which cannot be handled by the user, are not mentioned here.

display
In the QUISI
®
display 3 possible errors can be displayed:

Solution
•
Normally if the
electrodes
come off
the forehead.
•
Possibly the
active
electrode connector
is
defective
.
•
Check the correct fitting of the
electrodes, or
attach new
ones
correctly.
•
Contact the
support team
.
•
The
batteries
are
over-
discharged
(e.g. by longer
storage).
•
Battery short circuit
or
battery-pin broken.
The battery is normally
damaged
.
•
If
A-error
appears, remove the plug
from the power socket and
recharge
QUISI (repeat process 2-3 times).
•
Contact the
support team
.
•
Normally bad
ambient
operating temperature
.
The battery temperature is
too high when recharging.
•
Attempted recharging
of
a full battery.
•
Remove the
plug
from the power
socket, allow the battery to get cold
and then recharge.
•
Remove the
plug
from the power
socket and let the battery
get cold
.
The display
doesn't show the
message 'Ready'
after recharging.
•
If after 6 hours loading
time the display don't
show 'Ready', the batteries
may be
damaged
.
•
