4.3. Prepare the PC and set-up

After an off-line recording you can transfer the data to the PC, which computes the sleep
profile from them.

First connect the PC and QUISI

®

(see the following figure).

•

Connect the

fiber optic adaptor

to a free

serial port

(COM 1 or COM 2) on your PC.

•

Connect one end of the

fiber optic cable

to the

fiber optic socket

on the recorder.

•

Connect the other end of the cable to the

fiber optic adaptor

.

Connection between the PC and QUISI

®

is now complete.

Now run the software ‘QUISI

®

’. A welcome screen appears. Click on ‘OK’.

Click on ‘Feature Transfer’.

If no new project has been created, the new project dialog box opens.
Please

create a new project

now.

The feature transfer window appears (see diagram), and the program is now ready to

receive

data from the recorder
