Problem Solution
Motor doesn’t
start or blades
don’t rotate – Check that the power plug is securely inserted into the power out-
let and switched on.
– Check that the blender jug and lid are securely into position.
– Check that the
ON|OFF
button and selected function or speed set-
ting is illuminated.
– If all control lights flash, the appliance is overloaded. Refer to last
section.
Food is unevenly
chopped – An oversized amount was put into the blender jug. Fill the blen-
der jug with a smaller amount of food and, if necessary, blend seve-
ral times.
– Pieces were too large. Cut the foods in smaller pieces. For best
results, the food should be chopped into pieces no larger than
2 cm.
Food is chopped
too fine or is
watery – Blend for shorter period of time. Use PULSE function for more con-
trol.
Food sticks to
blade and jug – The mixture may be too thick. Try adding more liquid to the mix-
ture and/or use a slower speed.
Blender
overloaded – The blender features a motor protection feature. If the appliance
is overloaded, the motor will stop and all control lights will flash.
– If all control lights flash, switch the blender off with the ON | OFF
button and pull the plug. Let the appliance cool down for 15 minu-
tes, reconnect the plug and restart the appliance with the
ON | OFF
button.
– We recommend removing a portion of the mixture, cutting food
into smaller pieces or processing smaller amounts per batch.
