• 1.50” (38mm) clearance to combustibles is required
around the outer diameter of the flue pipe.
• The floor the fireplace immediately rests on must
be constructed of non-combustible material with an
R factor of at least .37, with a minimum thickness of
½” (13mm).
• This framing guide is just an example of the many ways
in which a SÓLAS Fireplace can be installed. You may
need to customize this framing design to allow for
things such as doors, windows, countertops, structural
frame members or local code requirements.
• The sheet metal face of this fireplace must be covered
by a finishing material, it may not be left exposed.
Combustible finishing materials are permitted.
