Grounding/electric bonding

Proper grounding is the responsibility of the installing
company.

No external lightning protection installed

A functional earth is recommended for PV module
frames. Connect all electrically conductive parts
with each other by appropriate means and then
connect them to the equipotential busbar with at
least 6 mm² (copper).

External lightning protection installed

PV module frame must be included in the protec-
tion concept against direct lightning strike.
If necessary, consult a lightning protection
company.
