Check And Adjust Before Driving

 Note

Vehicles parked for a long time, if the battery is depleted the 
electronic parking brake will not be released. Replace the battery 
immediately or use jump leads to start - refer to “Jump start 
Start-up” in Emergency Procedures.
When the vehicle needs to be parked for a long time, to 
prevent battery loss, it is recommended that the battery will be 
disconnected by removing the negative battery terminal.

 Warning

•  Do not touch the electronic parking brake (EPB) at any time 

during driving.

•  Do not place heavy objects on the switch.

•  If the electronic parking brake failure indicator does not go 

out, please contact a DFSK service outlet for maintenance.

Auxiliary start function

When the vehicle is parked, such as waiting at traffic lights, 

the driver does not need to press the EPB switch to release the 
brake. The EPB will automatically release the parking brake.

 Warning

•  Auxiliary start function is also suitable for reversing.

•  Do not press the EPB switch while depressing the accelerator 

on the ramp. Otherwise, the EPB will automatically release 
and the vehicle will be released.

High temperature and then clamping function

Multiple braking will cause the brake discs to overheat. In order 

to ensure parking safety, EPB in the parking space after a certain 
time will automatically clamp again to ensure parking effect.
