Set Up at the Office
An office setup can be used to transfer data from the receiver to a
PC for post-processing, or to configure the receiver.
To transfer data from the receiver’s memory to a PC, use a
Bluetooth
connection or a card reader.
To set up the receiver in the office:
1.
Place the receiver on a desk or other suitable work surface.
2.
Press the power button to turn on the receiver. The receiver
will initialize and issue a “Receiver Ready” message or
sound when it completes.
3.
Connect to the receiver using
Bluetooth
. You can use a
Bluetooth
USB adapter (for example, the one that is included
with Spectrum Survey Suite) to connect the receiver to a PC
that does not have built-in
Bluetooth
capability. Refer to the
Receiver Bluetooth Setup Quick Reference Guide
for details.

Communicate with the receiver. For example, use Spectrum
Survey or Planning software.

Set Up for Field Operations
The receiver can be used for static or stop-and-go/kinematic
surveys, as a base or rover. This section provides an overview of
the equipment and setup for typical uses of the system.
