Receiver Components

Chapter 2

To ensure correct operation of the hot swap feature, please note 
that the following conditions apply:

• The hot swap feature cannot be used when the temperature is 

below -20° C (-4° F). Doing so will result in immediate 
shutdown of the receiver.

• After any prolonged period of disuse, operate the receiver for 

at least 1 hour (at a temperature above 0° C) before attempting 
to hot swap the battery.

Under static operation, the battery is capable of running for 10 
hours on a single charge.

The battery compartment door provides access to the main 
battery. See Section 2.5.1, 

Remove or insert the battery

The receiver can also be powered using an external power source. 
For more information about additional power input, see 
Section 5.2,

Remove or insert the battery

To remove the battery:

1.

Grasp the battery 
compartment door knob and 
turn it counter clockwise, then 
pull the door open.

2.

Press down on the battery 
clip to release the battery 
from the compartment.
