5.6. WEB/SNMP Card (option)
With this card installed (inside the smart slot), the UPS can be connected directly to
a LAN (RJ45 ethernet) and controlled remotely from a WEB browser using TCP/IP
protocol. Reference should be made to the dedicated literature for a full description
of the functionalities.
5.7. RS-485 Port
You can use a RS-485 cable (user supplied) to connect the UPS with a computer
and install the LocalView or Building Managment System (BMS) software to check
and monitor the UPS status.
This interface is required to run the Local View UPS monitoring and shutdown
point-to-point solution for Windows®, Linux® and Mac OS X® operating systems.
