1.
Turn off the snow blower, remove the batteries and wait
until the snow blower comes to complete standstill.
2. Open the two side covers by removing the 4 screws on
each side (Fig. 16).

From the left side, remove the belt from the auger pulley,
and then remove the auger pulley by turning it clockwise
(Fig. 17).
NOTE:
When removing the belt,
Use your right hand to
turn the rib side of the belt up and pull upwards while
turning the auger pulley counterclockwise with your left
hand. The belt can be easily removed from the pulley
(Fig. 18).
4.
Remove the screws and washer on the other side (Fig. 19).
5.
The auger axle and the old auger should be able to be
removed from the housing (Fig. 20).
6. Install the replacement auger by following the above steps
in reverse order.
Replacing the Belt
NOTE:
Under normal operating conditions, it should not be
necessary to replace the auger belt. However, should the auger
jam or malfunction, the belt could be damaged. To replace the
belt, follow the instructions.
NOTE: Determine the left and right hand side of the snow
blower by standing behind the unit in the normal operating
position.
