The insertion of a reactor causes a reduction of the output voltage as indicated in the two following graphs,

showing the output voltage magnitude as a function of the reactor inductance, with the maximum permissible

load pertinent to the type of power supply (the first graph refers to single-phase, the second one to three-

phase). Lower absorptions cause lower voltage drops.
