7.2. How to Increase Manifold Stations
7.2.1 Individual wiring specifications
1) Remove two tension bolts.
2) Remove the end plate U. (Be careful not to drop the gasket.)
3) Mount a single unit to the end surface of U side. (Do not let the gasket get caught.)
4) Mount the end plate U with the appropriate length of tension bolts for the number of stations required.
(Tightening torque: 0.75 Nm)
7.2.2 Common wiring specifications

To increase the number of stations from odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) to even number (2, 4, 6, 8, 10)
(Common wiring of odd number station has a vacant connector for one station. Easy to add a station.)
1) Remove two tension bolts.
2) Remove the end plate U.
3) Remove the valve assembly of a single unit for extra station for manifold.
4) Remove the switch assembly if it is present. (Be careful not to drop the O-ring. Refer to
Fig.1
)
5) Remove the junction box B (top) using a precision screwdriver. (Refer to
Fig.2
)
6) Mount the extra connector to the junction box B. (Refer to
Fig.3
)
(Engage the recess of the connector and the protrusion of the junction box B. (Refer to
Fig.3-A
)
7) Mount a single unit for extra station for manifold to the end surface of U side.
(Do not let the gasket or lead wire get caught.)
8) Mount the end plate U with the appropriate length of tension bolts for the number of stations required.
(Tightening torque: 0.75 Nm.)
9) Mount the junction box B to the junction box A.
10) Assemble the valve assembly. (Tightening torque: 0.15 Nm)
11) For products with a switch, mount the switch assembly.
(Be careful not to drop the O-ring. Tightening torque: 0.08 to 0.10 Nm)
