Priority

Device prior ity is used in selecting the root
device, root port, and design ated port. The
device with th e highest priority becomes the
STA root device. (Remember that the low er the
numeric value, the h igher the priority.)
However, if all devices have the same priority,
the device with the lowest MAC addr ess will
then become the root device.
