Configuring HDD Group for Recording 

Purpose: 

You can group the HDDs and save record files on certain HDD group. 

Steps: 

1.

 

Enter HDD setting interface. 

Menu > HDD > General

Click the 

Advanced

 tab on the left-side. 

Check whether the storage mode of the HDD is Group. If not, set it to Group. For details, see 

Chapter 10.3 

Managing HDD Group

Click the 

General

 tab on the left-side and click the icon 

  to enter the Local HDD Settings interface.

Configure the HDD group.

Select a group number for the HDD.

 to confirm the settings in the pop-up dialog box.

Repeat the above steps 3-4 to configure the group settings for more HDDs.

Select the channels of which you want to save the record files in the HDD group.
