Standalone Charger

Overview

SmartTV offers an optional standalone charger for the cordless handset. Use the information and procedures 

in this section for installing and using the cordless handset charger. 

This standalone charger can be used in addition to the Base to provide fast charging of cordless handsets 

in locations away from the Base. Standalone chargers can also be used as stations for additional cordless 

handsets in rooms which have corded or cordless Bases.

Note: 

Before using cordless handset(s) that are included with the standalone charger, refer to Chapter 2, 

Installation and Setup

 to connect the handset battery and register the handset to the Base.                                     

Charger and Power Supply

The cordless handset charger pictured below connects to AC power through a 5V DC adapter included with 

the unit.
