Troubleshooting the X-Port 30 Unit and Control Panel
Most problems with the X-Port 30 unit are the result of improper connections, so be sure to
check all the input and output connections, as well as the power connections.
You may encounter problems with control panel if you have removed it from the X-Port 30 unit
and mounted it at a different location. The control panel connects to the X-Port 30 unit with a
custom I
2
C cable, which is a straight-through, four-wire modular cable. The connectors at
either end are RJ11-6 (RJ12) with identical pin assignments (see page 46 for the
assignments).
