Sympodium IM-150 Installation Guide

To connect a laptop computer or RGB video source

Connect an RS-232 serial cable from the input source (if applicable) to the female serial
port labeled either 2 or 3 on the connection panel.

NOTE:

Your cable must have a male DB9 connector at the X-Port 30 unit end.

Connect an HD DB15 RGB cable from the input source to the female video port labeled
either 2 or 3 on the connection panel.

NOTE:

The X-Port 30 unit is designed to handle RGBHV sources up to SXGA resolution.

To connect composite video, S-video and component analog video sources, you’ll need a
video scaler.

Connect the stereo audio cable from the input source to the audio port labeled 2 on the
connection panel using a 3.5 mm connector.

OR

Connect the audio cables from the input device to the audio ports labeled 3 on the
connection panel using RCA connectors.
