NOTE: This letter and number combination, as determined at the factory, may already be
noted as the “Hinged” value on a sticker near the projector’s control panel.
10. While a second person supports the projector, remove the two thumbscrews and carefully
allow the projector to swing down. Keep the two thumbscrews nearby, as you’ll need them
later.
11. Replace the filter as described on page 51 of the NEC VT470/570/670 User’s Manual .
12. Replace the projector lamp as described on page 53 of the NEC VT470/570/670 User’s
Manual .
13. Replace the projector by reversing steps 1 through 10.
Troubleshooting
Many problems result from incorrect cabling, an incorrect computer setting or improperly installed
or configured software. Of course, the 2000i works properly only when its major components are
functioning correctly. These components include the computer, projector and the interactive
screen. To determine if they’re functioning properly, refer to the LEDs on the 2000i and the tables
in this section.
