IMPORTANT

Clean and degrease the hull boss internally. 

IMPORTANT

Do not lift or attach 

lifting equipment to 

the actuating 

cylinders or their 

rams.

IMPORTANT

Sealant must be compatible with base plate 

and hull plate material. Naval architect/ Boat 

builder must confirm this. Ensure to prepare 

and prime the surfaces according to sealant 

supplier technical data-sheet. 

Mechanical Installation

MOUNTING OF THE STABILIZER ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

1.     Hull reinforcement is now completed and prepared for mounting of actuator assembly. 

2.     Apply a solid amount of sealant in the recess, and apply sealant inside of the hull boss. 

3.     

Using appropriate lifting equipment (sling) lift the Stabilizer Actuator assembly by the Top Seal Plate Cylinder Mount Arms. 

4.     Carefully lower the Stabilizer Actuator Assembly into the hulls reinforced frame & place in the correct orientation before laying onto the sealant 

mounting surface. Utilize and attach the securing bolts to lock the correct Actuator Assembly positioning. 

Apply grease on threads of the securing bolts/nuts and secure each with a locking washer and a nut. Tighten & torque load the securing bolt nuts 

diagonally to avoid misalignment to 110 Nm.

1.     Coat the securing bolts with sealant and insert into the External Securing Plate, the Yachts hull and the Actuator Assembly and secure each with a    

        locking washer and a nut. Tighten & torque load the securing bolt nuts diagonally to avoid misalignment

2.     Connect a ground wire from the yachts main bonding/anode system to each actuator
