Mechanical Installation
Defi ne the optimal position of the stabilizer fi ns.
1. Prepare a suitable hole xx mm diameter hole in the yachts hull, matching the outer dimensions of hull boss.
2. Insert the hull boss, ensuring it is level with the outside hull surface.
3. Spot weld the hull boss to the hull on the inside of the yacht.

installation should be obtained from a naval architect familiar with the particular materials, vessel brand, prior to installation.
(Actuator details that are illustrated in this document can differ from current actuator model/version. Also the height of the hull boss
illustrated can differ from actual hull boss used. However, it will not affect the installation principles suggested in this document.)

In case of the fi n positioning being so that you need to cut down some
of the top aft end of the fi n to avoid it hitting the hull (very typical on
planning boats with hard chines), please do so as per the instructions
below.
