Note
If the program is closed without logging out and the USB connection between per-
sonal computer and TK Adapter V2 is not removed, the TK Adapter V2 will remain in
programming mode for a maximum of 4 further minutes (indicated by the flashing
of the mode LED (Modus), a normal function is thus impossible (calls will not be put
through)!
If the USB cable is removed the programming mode will be ended, alternatively the
program can be started anew and the programming mode can be ended by a mouse
click on “Disconnect”.
8.3
Configuration/Setting parameters via DTMF
The most important steps of the configuration can also be done via a DTMF capable telephone. To do so the TK
Adapter V2 has to be called via its analogue connection (i. e. **2, if the TK Adapter is connected to FON2 of a
Fritzbox).
Thus the configuration can be done through any
DTMF capable telephone
in the system. After calling the TK Adapt-
er V2 the answering of the call is indicated by a
positive feedback tone (660 Hz for one second)
. If the call has not
been answered a
shorter (3 x per second) and slightly higher tone
will be heard.
The general form of configuration is always the same and starts and ends with an asterisk (*):
*configuration*
= *at the beginning, enter code, finish with *
8.3.1
Login with Master-PIN/Start programming mode
*00xxxx*
„xxxx“ replaces the four digits of the Master-PIN
(default „0000“)
In case the master-PIN has not been changed, enter *000000* on one of the system’s telephones
after calling the TK Adapter V2 and receiving the positive feedback tone. Have you set the master
PIN to “1234“, enter *001234* to log in and start the programming mode of the TK Adapter V2.
If the login was successful this will be indicated by a
1 Hz-flashing
(= slow flashing once per second)
of the mode LED (Mode)
.
Attention
In the programming mode no call will be started by the TK Adapter.
To carry out the normal functions the user must be logged out!
It is not necessary for all configurations that the TK Adapter is in programming mode. The following changes can
be made without the programming mode:
3
Call number 2 before number1
3
No signalling of calls
3
Call redirection active
3
Redirect to Master
