Troubleshooting / Remedy
Even though the DA 74C has been designed to work without supervision, malfunctioning may occur.
Should this be the case, check and remedy according to the following:
Symptom
Reason
Solution
The winch motor does not
run, the LED does not
flash at all.
No power supply or power supply
below 12 V?
Has the motor plug been mounted?
Has calibration been forgotten?
Check supply voltage.
Check fuses.
Check assembly according to
connection and circuit diagram.
Mount the plug.
Press the CALIBRATE button; the
LED must be constantly on while the
winch motor opens and closes.
The LED (A) flashes
quickly 10 times/second.
Has calibration been forgotten?
The motor stutters.
Press the CALIBRATE button; the
LED must be constantly on while the
winch motor opens and closes.
Remove any object which may have
been trapped in the swivel shutter.
Swivel shutter not fully
open / closed.
Perform a calibration; if that does not
help, see section 3.1.
No feedback signal from
the house computer.
When using ON/OFF 278M and
378M,connect Q1 to C17/B17 on the
main module.
