Dust Extraction
Dust port
The dust port on the this Table Saw is
compatible with any vacuum or vacuum
accessory with a 2-1/2 inch outside diameters.
For vacuums with a different outside diameter,
an adapter (not included) must be used.
Dust elbow
To better contain dust when cutting without
using an attached vacuum, this Table Saw
comes with a dust elbow. Remove the dust
elbow from the storage position and insert it
into the dust port. If further containment of the
dust is required, place a five-gallon bucket
approximately 1 foot behind the saw, under the
dust port (Fig. 70). The majority of the dust will
be directed out the dust elbow and into the bucket. When done cutting, return the dust elbow
to its storage position.
Clear Dust Chute/Scoop
At times, thin cut-offs may fall through the table insert and into the dust chute. These may
accumulate and hamper dust collection. Your table saw is designed with a tool-free access
Dust Chute/Scoop for quickly and easily clearing this space.
1. Remove the table insert and blow inside with compressed air (Fig. 71)
2. Wipe the mouth of dust chute with a clean cloth (Fig. 72)
